The functions of houseboats and other lots are alike: It allows the player to build on them if he sees fit and services will utilize speedboats and jetskis to have access of them. Moreover, he can retain control of the other Sims in the household as he moves the boat. The game enables the player to have a Sim take the boat wherever he wants. The player can dock at any unoccupied port, or anchor anywhere in the ocean. Of the new features, one is the option for Sims to own houseboats. It is the 10 th expansion for The Sims 3.
